Meeting The Standards
Third party certification is required for the NHBC and some councils, and also for individual companies where extra standards are required.
This is not part of the standard but a specification of the NHBC and others. If you have business with these authorities then you will need to have certification.
We work with a number of UKAS accredited companies which can provide Certification, or simple
consultancy. Contact us for more information.
BS EN 1279 and BS EN 14351 are self-compliant, and unless you have business which depends on the type of work listed above, you are adding costs to your company which are not necessary.
CERTIFICATION IS A CHOICE NOT A REQUIREMENT OF THE STANDARD.
